MWMF At Home
Mid West Music Fest has been transformed into a virtual fest occurring May 8-9 featuring 50+ acts, wellness, and kids programming. Music is bringing the world together right now, feeding our souls and helping us heal. We feel this is not only a way for us to contribute to that effort, but also to support musicians who are largely not able to perform and make a living during this time.
Mid West Music Fest at Home will be hosting two “stages” simultaneously. One stage hosted on Mid West Music Fest and one on Treedome. We recommend opening both the MWMF and Treedome streams — this way you’ll be able to go back and forth between different shows.
For more information, visit How To Stream and read our Listener’s Guide.
The fest will be streaming on Facebook and Youtube. A schedule of performances is available here. All performances are approximately 30-45 mins.

Wellness Activities
Mid West Music Fest has partnered with a number or organizations and community partners to provide virtual wellness experiences during MWMF At Home. All activities are free and available for all.
These efforts to stream the event are being aided through partnerships with local music business, Treedome, and the City of Winona’s WinonArts initiative. The event will also be brought to you by our community sponsors and partners in Winona and La Crosse. Thanks to grant funding from the MN Legacy Amendment and the help of valued sponsors, all artists will be paid, and streams are free for all to watch.

Campaign to Save Mid West Music Fest
We have launched a campaign to SAVE MID WEST MUSIC FEST. Beyond the virtual fest the future of this organization, and our ability to bring the community together around music, is in serious jeopardy. The in-person fests represented 40% of the organization’s annual income. Losing that income due to COVID-19 is a big hit. – but together we can weather this situation. Please help us by contributing to our campaign.
To make it to the other side, MWMF needs to raise $20,000 over the next six weeks
Mid West Music Fest is in its 11th year of operation. Through its 501c3 non-profit, almost $500,000 has been directed toward up-and-coming local, regional, and national musicians over the past decade. Through a two-year study in conjunction with Winona State University Economics Department, it was estimated that over 2 million dollars have been directed into the local economies of Winona and La Crosse through attendees of the annual fest.
