glowingtide

glowingtide was formed by members Jack Liedel and Dean Mackenzie in 2017 while they were in high school. In these early stages they toyed with varieties of shoegaze, and their first EP was a sort of collection of these experiments. The band started to find its own when Brett Gooden joined in early 2022. Not too long after joining, they recorded a full length album together. It was a more thematically tight coming of age shoegaze epic of sorts. It taught them a lot about the recording and writing process of a full length album. They're excited to be entering this new chapter of the band with the record they have in development. glowingtide is finally feeling like they're able to fuse all of the genres/themes that they've wanted to with this next project. They've become dancier, rockier, and jazzier as ever and that's reflected in their shows!
