Amateur

Amateur is an indie rock band formed in 2016 by high school friends, vocalist/guitarist Chris Tauzell, and lead guitarist Brody Heinzel. The duo got its start playing local coffee shops before growing to include Alex Ortberg on drums, Jake Steele on bass, and Amanda Jay Fuller on keys/vocals.

Drawing influences from bands like The Strokes, Kings of Leon, The Black Keys, Dawes, while also including elements of funk, pop, and soul.

Amateur’s debut album “Every Little Thing” was released in 2022, with a second full length album coming summer 2024.
