Taylor James Donskey

History: Taylor James Donskey has been writing and performing music in the midwest for nearly 12 years. He has worked with hundreds of musical acts as bassist and vocalist, and now he's added "bandleader" to the list. He is a 9 year music educator, working both privately and with Twin Town Guitars, and he is the lead organizer and host of the Twin Cities Songwriter Rounds.

Music: Donskey has delved deeply into the histories of Folk and Classic Rock to bring forth two solo records. "Paper Over It" (2020) finds him introspective and sparse, using simple melodies and arrangments to convey a breadth of emotion. "JoyRide" (2023) is just as the title suggests: a rocking ride!
